When you apply for a grant, your file is first accepted by Rénoclimat and then submitted to Greener Homes.
What is the purpose of the Rénoclimat grant?
The Rénoclimat grant is designed to help homeowners make energy-efficiency improvements to their homes.
In Quebec, the Rénoclimat program is responsible for inspecting your home to assess its energy costs and provide you with recommendations for improving its energy efficiency. This step is designed to make your home more environmentally friendly.
How to obtain the Rénoclimat grant?
1. See the Participant’s Guide for eligibility criteria.
2. Fill in the appointment request form.
3. A Rénoclimat energy advisor comes to your home to perform a pre-retrofit energy evaluation. Following the visit, you’ll receive a home evaluation report.
4. Call a Duraclim expert at 1 855-205-2180 for advice on the heat pump that meets your specific needs and is eligible for the Rénoclimat grant.
5. Once your work is complete, fill out the appointment request form again for the second post-work inspection.

Hydro-Québec’s Efficient Heat Pump grant program gives you access to financial assistance when you install an efficient heat pump. This program is administered and entirely financed by Hydro-Québec at the provincial level.

How to obtain the Efficient Heat Pump grant?

3. Once your heat pump has been installed, fill out the financial assistance application following the details provided by your Duraclim advisor.
